Andy is a versatile singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, but above all else he is a remarkable entertainer. His live performances are a must see for anybody with an interest in any genre of music.
Born in 1968, he is a native of Cork City in Ireland where during his informative years honed his skills on the local pub circuit . This led to him touring with different bands including Irish folk legend, Davy Arthur and guesting for Artists such as Mary Black, Midge Ure, Big Country and Americana legend Guy Clark. Andy also toured the Irish Pub Scene in Germany in the 90 ’s.
Andy has a wide range of influence’s such as Willie Nelson, Billy Joel, David Byrne, Mick Hanly & Jimmy MacCarthy (to name a few). His energy, talent and story-telling ability have made him a favourite within the Cork music scene and beyond.
For the last 20 years, Andy has also been a member of the Cork based, legendary contemporary folk group Galleon. This has brought his music to people in many theatres and concert halls in Germany.
